The Center for Leadership Capacity Building Training, accountable to the Training Vice President, comprises four key departments: Leadership Training, Rank Promotion Training, Capacity Building Training, and Procurement, Finance, Health, and General Services. Located in Awash 7 within the Afar region, the Capacity Building Training Department plays a pivotal role in enhancing the leadership competencies of police personnel across various ranks. The center’s primary objective is to cultivate skilled, ethical, and visionary leaders capable of making informed decisions, managing teams effectively, and upholding professional policing standards. Through specialized programs such as Middle Level Leadership Training, Higher Level Leadership Training, and Strategic Level Leadership Training, the center equips officers with the necessary skills to address modern policing challenges while maintaining public trust and institutional integrity. By fostering leadership excellence, the center ensures that police personnel are prepared to lead with accountability, strategic insight, and a commitment to service.
