Since its establishment in 2011, the Crime Prevention and Public Security College (CCPPS) has emerged as a premier institution dedicated to training future police leaders and advancing public safety in Ethiopia and beyond. Committed to professionalism, courage, and responsibility, CCPPS plays a pivotal role in the crime prevention–public security interface by developing both theoretical frameworks and practical strategies to mitigate criminal activity. The college emphasizes proactive crime prevention through risk assessment and community collaboration, while also nurturing strategic security leaders skilled in law enforcement policy, intelligence operations, and national threat response. Offering a range of diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive master’s programs, CCPPS equips police officers and high-ranking officials with advanced skills in police intelligence, road traffic safety, peace, and security. With scholarship opportunities extended to neighboring countries and a strong focus on international collaboration, CCPPS continues to position itself as a regional hub for research, education, and training in crime prevention and public security.
